Why choose PHB Inc for your machining needs?

Why Choose PHB Machining?

At PHB, we have over 140 employees on three shifts that are dedicated to making high quality machined parts that are within specifications and delivered on time. It is our goal to make continuous improvements on production, delivery, service and quality management.

Our Machining Division has 11 CNC lathes, 12 CNC verticals and 31 CNC horizontals including CAT40 and CAT50. We have machine brands such as Mazak, Okuma, Brother and Haas. We also have a complete Tool Room facility on the premises to build precise fixtures that insure process repeatability.

We currently machine aluminum and zinc die-castings, sand castings, permanent mold castings, bar stock, zinc, aluminum, cast iron, steel, brass, titanium, and plastics.

We have 3D laser scanning and modeling capability to help us create 3D models of your parts if needed. Our team of engineers can even create a 3D model from a drawing. We can also help with part design and suggest changes that will save you money on existing parts; our engineering team is very oriented toward early involvement to enhance manufacturability as well as continuous improvement.

Everyday our engineers, operators and inspectors spend hours ensuring each part that is machined is within the agreed upon dimensions and are up to spec. We check parts every shift to protect the quality of all our parts. We take pride in the upkeep of our machines and invite you to tour our facility located in Fairview Pennsylvania in Northwest PA near Erie. We can add to our quality control systems to meet any additional requirements, and utilize quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, 1st articles, and SPC. We will work together to establish a quality control system that provides a solution for your business needs.

In addition to machining, we also offer leak testing, wet vacuum impregnation, fixturing, assembly, millipore testing, plating, and painting.

Since 1906, PHB has been committed to high quality die castings and machining, always improving our business to be able to accommodate our customers’ needs.
